Ever wondered how some people always look their best, even in the midst of a recession like this? Well, I'm about to give some easy rules to follow to save you money and keep you looking your best:
1. ALWAYS shop around!!! Never buy something the first time you see it. For all you know, it's half the price somewhere else.
2. Keep and eye out for replicas. You can remake designer items! For example, I bought one day; An exact replica of a Juicy Couture sweatsuit from Wal Mart for $20, and a "J" charm from a trimmings store. I took them both home, cut off the zipper pull on the sweatshirt, put on the charm, and the next thing you know, I have a "Juicy" sweatsuit for under $30!
3. Make your way to Michael's! Go to an arts and crafts or trimmings store like Michael's, and stock up on patches and fringe. Take your $20 Levi's and transform them into the sequined Versace jeans that you saw Jessica Alba wearing in Glamour magazine. With a little creativity, anything is possible!
